Ninja has more than serial; USB/HID Monitor and sessions are golden too- you can listen to almost any USB device such as a mouse/camera. And this product is adding features constantly and growing them. Support is also excellent; the IO Ninja team listens to every customer's needs and wishes and puts those in the queue for development. The tremendous plugins and tools in IO Ninja and being so user-friendly make us use it almost everyday in our design and debugging work. Even as an SSH terminal connecting to my Raspberry Pi or Linux machine everyday. In-app scripting also helps me to automate a lot of tests (monitoring serial and TCP) overnight. And another thing that I love about it is that I have it on both my Windows and Linux machines and also on my Raspberry Pi5 and when I switch between machines, I use the same tool, with the same features and the same look. Of course IO Ninja has far more than I describe here; this review is only about a part of IO Ninja that I use more and excites me the best: IO Ninja is an amazing, reliable, and user-friendly tool for logging and debugging different things in multiple levels, from hardware level communications like serial to protocol level analyzing like TCP/UDP. Scripting in IO Ninja is super useful; With only a few lines, you can bring a huge amount of automation to your testing and let the script deal with actions required while the system is being tested. Literally, write a small script, let your system-under-debugging (HW or SW) run and go to bed! Ninja, by script capability, will emulate YOU overnight! This capability alone saved us lots of time not sitting behind the system in a few projects!
