A Classic Terminal View to Work with Linux Boxes

IO Ninja comes with a powerful logging engine, but sometimes, all you need is the classic terminal view to monitor the incoming data stream.

IO Ninja offers full compatibility with the X-Term terminal interface. This means that if, for example, you need to log into an embedded Linux device via a serial or SSH connection, you're all set. Any session that provides an RX data stream (not all sessions do—e.g., the packet-based Pcap Sniffer) can also include a secondary terminal view.

The terminal view can either float independently or be docked next to the main log view. You can seamlessly switch between the log and terminal views at any time, depending on what works best for each specific task.

What Makes the IO Ninja Terminal Stand Out?

Inspect X-Term Control Sequences

With IO Ninja’s terminal, you can view the underlying X-Term control sequence exchanges between the terminal console and the server, offering greater transparency.

Replay Blocks of Data in Terminal

Another standout feature is the ability to capture a block of bytes and replay it in the terminal to see the full rendering of all X-Term control sequences within the data.
