But, I can't seem to find an option to toggle line end characters e.g. \n or \r in serial transmission. I'm used to Arduino serial monitor having the option easily accessible. And it's quite a pain to type in the line end every time.</p>

<p dir="auto">You can use the <a href="https://ioninja.com/plugins/tx-modifier.html" rel="nofollow ugc">TX Modifier</a> layer plugin for that. It can do much more than just adding <code>\r\n</code>, but if you only need that, use the "Append suffix" setting as shown below:</p>
