Welcome to the IO Ninja Blog!

Hi everyone!
My name is Vladimir, and I'm the author of IO Ninja. Together with the rest of the IO Ninja team, we've decided to launch this blog.
Why? Well, the blog format could be *just right* for sharing miscellaneous ideas and tidbits of helpful information that otherwise fade away and get lost deep in email threads, messenger histories, or notepad scribbles under a pile of papers on the desk. So you can say, we are creating this blog to solve the problem of "lost info-crumbs" – and at the same time foster a better connection with our community in general.
So, what to expect in here?
- Behind-the-scenes look at the development of IO Ninja
We'll share insights into what we are currently working on, under-the-hood internals of the IO Ninja engines, exclusive previews of upcoming hardware and software features, and so on. Hopefully, it'll spark discussions that lead to better decisions on what goes in and what stays out. - Tutorials, HOWTOs, FAQs
Yes, we already have documentation for these sections. But publishing small tutorials or answers to specific user questions here, in the blog post format, could be simpler, faster, and have better exposure compared to an article hiding somewhere deep in the reference manual. - Real-world use cases
Most people are accustomed to using IO Ninja in their specific domain and in a pretty straightforward way. Seeing how others use it can produce quite a few "Hmm, I had no idea it could do that!" moments. We'll share real-life use cases to highlight lesser-known and rarely used features of IO Ninja – thus expanding your toolset and making your workflow more efficient. - RANTS!
As developers, we are natural-born problem-solvers – but oh boy, is it annoying when we are forced to solve problems caused by someone else's mistakes/misunderstanding/incompetence?! Arrghh! We've all been there. But ranting is not only about venting our anger and making us feel better – it can help others avoid stepping on the same landmines! - ...and just random ideas!
We already have a nice forum engine up and running – so we'll reuse it as the discussion platform for the blog posts, too (otherwise, we'd have to maintain yet another set of accounts for this blog).
We sincerely hope all this will be beneficial for everyone in the IO Ninja community. Stay tuned! And leave your thoughts in the discussion thread.
